 What sort of work does our Agency get?

We have talent that do a variety of work such as tv commercials, advertising photography, catalogues, corporate videos, voice overs, film, and tv shows (sitcoms, drama, etc.).

 Who are our clients?

We deal mainly with the major advertising agencies, casting consultants, photographers and production companies both here and overseas such as New Zealand, Japan, USA, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany and many other countries.

 What is the age range of our models?

We represent people from the age of 4 up to 80 plus.

 What age do we take children?

Currently we represent children from the age of 4 - 16 years of age. There are no height or size requirements for children but we do look for good teeth and skin and, of course outgoing co-operative personalities.

 Can I be registered with more than one agency?

No. Some people think if they are with multiple agencies they may have more work opportunities but the industry in Australia is too small. This will cause a conflict at some point that could be costly to you financially and/or your reputation.

 Can modelling be my full time job?

Modelling/acting is a very competitive business and most people who are represented by us also have another income from their "regular" jobs as modelling work can be very irregular and we cannot guarantee work for you, as our clients select all talent most of the time.

What type of work do our actors and models get?

Our talent are booked for a variety of work in tv commercials, feature films, tv series, advertising photography, fashion photography, commercial photography, online videos and voice over.We are not an extras or promotional agency.

Who are our clients?

Our clients are all the major casting agencies, advertising agencies, production houses and photographers. Check out our Facebook and Instragram pages to see some of the brands we work with.

How do I join?

Jump on our JOIN section and fill out your details. Upload a few recent images of yourself. Include full length, face (smiling & not smiling). We’ll be in touch if we think you’d be suitable for the type of work AM&TA books.

How much do I get paid? How much commission does AM&TA take?

Fees for talent vary depending on the job you’re booked on. We let you know the rate of a job at the time of the casting or booking.

  • Our commission is between 10% - 20%.
  • All film, television and voice over work commission is 10%.
  • TV Commercials, photographic campaigns and online videos commission is 20%.

Can I be with more than 1 agent?

Can modeling/acting be my full time job – How much work will I get?

  • This industry is highly competitive and most of the talent represented by us have income from elsewhere.
  • Not many models and actors work full time within the industry.
  • No agency can guarantee you work but we can guarantee we’ll do our very best to promote you for jobs you’re suitable for. It’s up to our clients to select you for a casting and/or booking.
  • To be taken seriously in this industry it’s important to supply us with updated images and for actors a current showreel or clip library.
  • Your chances of being booked are greater if your content is up to date, it also shows us you’re professional and enthusiastic and ready to work in the industry.

What age to you take children?

We represent children from the age of 4 to 16. We also prefer children have attended some form of drama and/or dance performance classes.

Are there joining fees?

No, we do not charge joining fees, however, you do need to cover costs for new photographs yearly and for your profile to appear on industry casting platforms such as Casting Networks and/or Showcast. Cost of photography if booked through AM&TA is around $200 to $300 for headshots taken by professional photographers.
